In the first game, Checkmate Hardpoint, Atlanta looked a little rusty, but they still won 250-188. FaZe, on the other hand, left no doubt after that. Atlanta’s players all had their moments of brilliance, with all members having a K/D of 1.15 or greater. Throughout the three games, the Tiny Terrors, Atlanta’s SMG pair of Simp and aBeZy, led the way with 1.40 and 1.28 K/Ds, respectively.

Despite the 3-0 loss, the Royal Ravens fought hard and kept the maps competitive. Before Atlanta came roaring back to take map one in the Checkmate Hardpoint, London enjoyed a lead. Before Atlanta won 6-4, London had an opportunity to bring the series’ second map, Standoff Search and Destroy, to a decisive round 11. PaulEhx was the only Royal Ravens player to post a positive series K/D, with a 1.06 series K/D.

Chicago cruised to victory in the series finale, defeating Paris three times in a row. FormaL began the series with five consecutive kills on Garrison Hardpoint and didn’t stop until the end. With a 1.48 K/D across the series, he led OpTic in a vintage performance. Except for Standoff Search and Destroy, Chicago dominated the 3-0 victory. In the series’ three maps, Scump and Dashy helped lead the way with 1.22 and 1.08 K/Ds, respectively.

At times during the series, Paris appeared to be outmatched. During a 3-0 map loss, the Legion dropped two aggressive rounds in Raid Control, letting OpTic sweep the series. With 0.98 and 0.93 K/Ds, Temp and Skrapz led the way for Paris. When Atlanta takes on Paris on Saturday, July 10 at 2 p.m. CT, they will be back in action. On Sunday, July 11 at 5 p.m. CT, OpTic will face the New York Subliners.
