Resident Evil has arrived in Fortnite. The bad news is that you won’t be receiving Mr. X, but we’ll gladly accept Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as runners-up.

The couple initially featured in Resident Evil as members of the S.T.A.R.S team, and have since featured in a number of Resident Evil titles. Chris Redfield was previously seen in Resident Evil Village when he foolishly refused to disclose his true identity to protagonist Ethan. Jill, on the other hand, was last seen running from the bin-bag-clad Nemesis in Resident Evil 3 Remake.

They can now join forces in Fortnite as playable character skins, however, don’t anticipate them to start annihilating people with quad rocket launchers because they’re bound by the game’s rules. Jill is dressed in her Resident Evil Remake and Resident Evil 1 clothes, while Chris is dressed in his Resident Evil 5 attire as well as the ridiculous ensemble he donned for Resident Evil Village, complete with beard.

The S.T.A.R.S. Team Bundle includes the “HOT DOGGER Pickaxe, Stun Rod Pickaxe, and Brolly Stroll Emote,” as well as the S.T.A.R.S. Team Gear Bundle, which includes the “HOT DOGGER Pickaxe, Stun Rod Pickaxe, and Brolly Stroll Emote.” The latter is a hilariously ludicrous scene in which the characters walk down the street spinning the tiniest Umbrella corporation umbrella.

Both skins are now accessible in the Fortnite Item Shop, though we wouldn’t be surprised if the new Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City film made an appearance later.
