The March 14 ranking update sees FaZe rise to third place in the world, marking the first time the team’s new core has achieved such heights. The international lineup accomplished this feat thanks to their unexpected victory at IEM Katowice, where they defeated G2 in a nail-biting grand final.

Nikola “NiKo” Kova and co. fell out of the top three after a two-week stint, as their second-place finish in Poland was followed by a disappointing ESL Pro League campaign in which they only managed two wins.

FaZe’s rise to third place in the rankings matches their best performance since 2020, when the team still included NiKo, Marcelo “coldzera” David, and Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras. Aside from that two-week period, the last time FaZe was ranked in the top three was in 2018.

Other notable movements this week include Entropiq (#9) and fnatic (#13) climbing three spots after clinching playoff spots at ESL Pro League, while Vitality (#8) fell three spots as a result of a disastrous IEM Katowice, combined with inactivity. BIG (#16) and GODSENT (#23) both dropped five spots in the rankings.
