The podcaster’s assertions were initially reported by Fortnite data miner iFireMonkey. While Nick did not go into detail, it appears Epic has reached an agreement with Paramount to include “assets” into Fortnite.
This news should come as no surprise to those who have been following the game over the last few years. Fortnite’s list of collaborations is very impressive, and it appears that there is a character for everyone.
A relationship with Paramount might take that concept to the next level. The primary focus, according to Nick, is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. However, there is much more to the list of Paramount properties:
- Indiana Jones
- Kung Fu Panda
- South Park
- Sonic the Hedgehog (film series)
Who knows what this rumored crossover has in store. It will be interesting to see how Epic handles the infamous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. One thing is certain: Fortnite is on its way to becoming the most diverse video game squad in history. We’ll have to wait for Epic to confirm anything, but the reports are very fascinating.
