Liquid has acquired a new sniper.
The components for Team Liquid’s 2022 CS:GO lineup are starting to fall into place. Today, the group announced the acquisition of AWPer Joshua “oSee” Ohm from NA org Extra Salt.
oSee, a veteran of NA CS:GO at the age of 22, will team up with top rifler Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski and recently re-signed lurker Keith “NAF” Markovic. After a relatively rocky 2021, Liquid just slammed the reset button on its CS:GO section, saying farewell to Stewie2k, FalleN, and Grim in the process. The signing of oSee verifies earlier this month’s claims that Liquid was interested in him from the AWPing role.

Former rifler/IGL Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella and French veteran Richard “shox” Papillon have also been prominently linked to Liquid. Nitr0 departed Liquid and CS:GO for 100 Thieves and VALORANT in August 2020, but recently broke ways with 100T amid speculations that he was eyeing a return to both Liquid and CS:GO. Shox just left Team Vitality after more than two years with the organization.
OSee initially debuted in the elite tiers of NA CS:GO after Cloud9 purchased the ATK roster in early 2020. The NA/South African roster was discharged before the conclusion of the year, and they eventually signed with the newly formed Extra Salt organization before the start of 2021. During 2021, the squad struggled in international competition but found domestic success at DreamHack Open and ESEA competitions.
Liquid still has time to complete its lineup before its next scheduled event, IEM Katowice, which begins on February 15.
