The competitive Apex MVP is also one of the game’s richest streamers.
Phillip “ImperialHal” Dosen, a professional Apex Legends player, is routinely ranked among the genre’s most successful Twitch streamers. When the salaries of Twitch streamers were revealed in a breach last week, ImperialHal was ranked 100th on the list of the highest-paid figures on the platform.
ImperialHal earned $886,999.17 in Twitch rewards alone from August 2019 to October 2021.
While this figure is significant on its own, it excludes a wide range of other revenue streams. ImperialHal also earns viewer donations, his TSM pay, earnings from other social media platforms including YouTube, and sponsorships. He also runs a boot camp where prospective Apex players can obtain direct guidance from ImperialHal.
From the inception of the professional Apex scene in early 2019 to now, ImperialHal earned more than $185,000 in competition prize money, making the TSM pro the highest-earning player in competitive Apex, just ahead of teammate Jordan “Reps” Wolfe.
While several streamers have contested the figures that were published last week, the revenues provide an in-depth look at the massive incentives for some of the site’s top gamers. ImperialHal‘s stream benefited from Apex’s rise in popularity on Twitch this summer. During the ALGS Championships in June 2021, he attracted a record number of viewers, slightly shy of 90,000.
On every given night, he may expect approximately 15,000 people to watch him play Apex. According to TwitchTracker, ImperialHal currently has over 1.1 million followers on the website and is listed as the 68th most popular streamer on the site, indicating that his stock has continued to increase.
