Nothing beats knocking an enemy out with a Kraber in Apex Legends. But hitting back-to-back sniper shots from the hip to win a game? That’s something else entirely.
One Reddit user posted a video to the Apex subreddit today, demonstrating their abilities as Wraith with the Kraber in a one-vs-three fight.
The game had come down to the final two squads, but both of the Wraith’s teammates had died. The Wraith had enough time to pop a few shield cells before charging out to face the final squad, easily dispatching the first opponent—a Crypto who was still in drone mode. A Horizon and an Octane, the Crypto’s teammates, rushed out from around the corner. Wraith greeted them with a full mag from an R-301, cracking the Horizon’s shield and inflicting significant damage.
The Wraith ducked behind the corner for a quick breather, with only a sliver of health remaining and an empty R-301 mag. Instead of reloading their R-301, they did what any brave player would do: they switched to their Kraber, which had only two shots left. But our protagonist only needed two bullets.
The Wraith fired a shot from the hip as soon as they switched weapons, taking out the armor-less Horizon. Octane, the enemy, charged forward in an attempt to finish off the Wraith with a punch. Octane’s close proximity, on the other hand, only aided Wraith in landing the final Kraber hip-shot, and Wraith and their teammates were soon greeted with a champion screen.
